(from Score, Baby!)
Stroboscopica Vol. 1 & 2 are two well-rounded comps of psycho beat lounge and jazz funk, much of which was used by Cinecitta movie studios in the 60s and 70s. The subtitle for volume two is typically bizarre: "70s psychofunk jazzy beats for erotic thrilling fiction". And the "genre/style" descriptions follow suit: "psychadelic reality", "whisky and baby doll", "action in the city", and "threatening hidden menace". The first volume favors psycho beat and the second favors funky crime themes. The featured artists include Franco Micalizzi, Marc 4, I Gres, Pulsar Music Ltd., Stefano Torrosi, even Ennio Morricone. All in all, very groovy stuff.

1 I Marc 4 - Matto Grosso (2:10)

Man, I'm truly amazed by your blog.. It's pearl after pearl, and I think I'm gonna be here for a while to pick just a tiny part of all the fantastic music you sharing... If you permit me just a little suggestion: could you consider to use sharebee? Rapidshare is ok, but you know, free users have to wait an immense amount of time to download again. I'm not simply cheap, I'm from Brasil and down here it's not that easy to buy a premiun account on rapidshare. So, tanx for your effort and taste, and congrats on your blog...

OBRIGADO BRASIL!

Thing is, I've got rapidshare paid for through august and it's easy for me to keep track of the files. Possibly i'll try another service after august though.

Respect, XMP...playing catchup here in the mines.

For YERBLUES and other FREE RAPIDSHARE USERS...

if you turn your modem off and on, you can end the insane waits...foolproof unless you're on a fixed IP.

Hope this helps everyone.
