Trip to Brazil Vol. 2 - Bossa & Beyond

Back from hiatus. Thanks for all the supportive comments and patience! Now for some treats from Brazil....

Trip to Brazil Vol. 2 - Bossa & Beyond
Label - EmArcy
Released - 1999
Style - Jazz, Bossa Nova, Latin, Brazil, Lee Library

(Review from Amazon dot com):
Best Brazilian Compilation of Rare Tracks

Incredible, one of the best compilations of Brazilian music issued - a true classic in every sense of the word. Volume 2 is a continuation of Volume 1 - a musical journey that depicts the rich evolution of Brazilian music during and after the bossa era. A tasty batch of rare tracks illustrate the wide range of styles that emerged during the late 60s and 1970s. Great.

Felt like it was time to switch things up... not too far of a stretch for the Library/Funk fanatics. It's all connected anyways...

Guess who got a "notice of delivery" today? Gonna pick that up tomorrow, upload it all and post it on my blog. hahaha! Just joking, you guys are the dominant force in the funky comp game. Lee Library is legendary! I am definitely looking forward to tomorrow. I will get on point here shortly and start working on a return mailing. Good looking stuff today. Like you say it crosses right into funk so definitely my kind of music.

Glad to be back. Lee Library will be posting stuff directly under his name (AMP) or whatever he chooses to call himself these days.

This is very good music. When I hear it, I remember my trip to Brazil. I was in Brazil and I was impressed by its beauty. The nation's natural beauty is reflected in its variety of geographic locations, from Sugar Loaf Mountain in the city of Rio de Janeiro, to the magnificent Iguazu Falls in the south, to the Amazon basin in the North, there's something for almost every taste... snow skiers excepted.

LOL @ the snow skiers exception. thanks for the comment!
