(From Dusty Groove)
Early work from the group that went onto become Azymuth -- featuring mad organ and piano work from Ze Roberto Bertrami, showing him to be a keyboard genius, even at this early stage! The style here is quite different from the smooth fusion of later years -- more an assemblage of groove-based tracks that use a lot of cool studio work to bring together styles that include soul jazz, 60s easy, and some of the brilliantly baroque grooves that were part of the Marcos Valle/Blue Brazil generation. Titles include "Parapluies", "Nadia", "Chafariz", "Mustang Cor De Sangue", "Arabian Nights", and "Surra 7".

and thank you for our link. I can't say I'm a big ZF 'fan' but Loh Land sounds pop into my head alot, and we got that tape back when I was in high school (15-20 years ago). Very strange stuff. Looking forward to seeing what you got to post today...
